Women’s Leadership Program
The Women’s Leadership Program (WLP) is a semester-long professional development and mentorship program designed to empower women to grow as confident, purpose-driven leaders. The program features weekly mentor–mentee meetings, alumni mentorship, leadership workshops, and skill-building sessions focused on personal growth, technical skills, and career development. Participants are paired with experienced student leaders and alumni mentors who provide guidance, support, and real-world insights. Through interactive exercises, goal-setting discussions, and networking opportunities, mentees build meaningful relationships while developing the leadership skills necessary to succeed academically, professionally, and beyond. WLP is tailored to students seeking mentorship, community, and the confidence to pursue leadership roles across campus and in their future careers.
What You'll Learn
Through the Women’s Leadership Program (WLP), you will develop the confidence, skills, and knowledge needed to succeed as a leader both on campus and in your future career. You will learn how to effectively communicate, network, collaborate with others, and navigate professional environments. Through hands-on workshops, mentorship, and interactive activities, you will also build technical and professional skills. Most importantly, WLP will help you better understand your own strengths, build meaningful connections, and become a more confident and purpose-driven leader.
Career Basics
Through WLP you will build essential professional skills that will help you feel more confident navigating the early stages of your career. You will be introduced to the basics of case interviews, professional emailing, LinkedIn, and resume building. Through interactive activities and hands-on practice, you will learn how to communicate professionally, strengthen your personal brand, and effectively present your experiences and skills to future employers.
Technical Workshops
Our technical workshops will help you gain hands-on experience with a variety of tools that are commonly used in academic and professional settings. You will learn how to create effective PowerPoint presentations, design with Figma, build financial models, analyze and visualize data using Tableau and Power BI, and develop a stronger understanding of personal finance.
Recruiting Success
We will help you learn how to navigate the recruiting process with confidence and prepare for future internship and career opportunities. You will develop effective interviewing skills, gain an understanding of recruiting timelines and important deadlines, and learn how to build and maintain meaningful professional connections through networking. Through practice and guidance, you will feel more prepared to approach recruiters, interviews, and the overall recruiting process.
